Iverson Movie Ranch

If you love watching movies and want to experience the same setting, consider taking an Iverson Movie Ranch Tour in Chatsworth, California. This 500-acre ranch served as the backdrop for many movies, from Westerns to science-fiction to war epics. The movie ranch has been used by every major production company in Hollywood's Golden Age. You can see where they filmed countless movies, including the classic The Graduate, as well as the most recent, The Avengers.

The Iverson Movie Ranch is home to a fireplace and was once owned by Aaron and Joe Iverson. The ranch was used for over a thousand films, including the first talkie. The home has been on the market for $6,900,000 and has been on the market for 153 days. During your tour, you can learn about the famous actors who starred in Hollywood movies, and you can even take a virtual tour of the Iverson Movie Ranch.

The Iverson Movie Ranch Tour in Chatswom is a great way to experience the history of the Chatsworth area. In 1884, the Iversons were homesteaders, and the land was used by local film studios for westerns and other western-type movies. In 1912, the ranch was divided into two parts: the Upper Iverson and the Lower Iverson. In 1966, the Simi Valley Freeway cut through the ranch's lower part.

Santa Susana Field Laboratory

When you think about the future of our world, you probably can't picture Santa Susana Field Laboratory (SSFL), which used to be known as Rocketdyne. This massive industrial research facility sits on over two thousand six hundred acres in southern California, between Simi Valley and Los Angeles. But if you're curious about the secrets and technologies of the place, you might want to take a tour.

The Simi Hills Field Laboratory has a long and storied history. The area was once home to a NASA rocket engine test stand, and native American artifacts. After the laboratory closed, however, the company secured a conservation easement to preserve the site. This easement protects nearly two thousand acres of Boeing-owned land from future agricultural and residential development. As the company has committed to the environment, SSFPL has partnered with various environmental organizations and educational organizations to promote clean-up efforts and increase public knowledge about the field's ecosystem.

The history of SSFPL is dotted with controversy. The 1990 Woolsey Fire in California exposed much of the site and raised concerns about the risk of radioactive contamination. The Department of Toxic Substances Control concluded that the site contained no elevated levels of radiation, but advocates of a full cleanup scoffed at the findings. Even Kim Kardashian West, who lives near SSFPL, tweeted that her house was contaminated with radioactive smoke.

Sage Ranch Park

If you are considering taking a day trip to the Simi Valley or the nearby cities of Los Angeles, you might want to consider the 625-acre park known as Sage Ranch Park. This park is located at about 2,000 feet in elevation in the northwestern Simi Hills. The park was originally a cattle ranch that later became a film location for western movies. You may even catch a glimpse of a movie or two at the park's historic filmsets.

There are concerns about the safety of the park, but the area was contaminated during multiple rocket tests. Some say that this is why they shouldn't tour it. Luckily, there are plenty of other activities in Chatsworth to keep you safe and entertained. But you shouldn't go near this park unless you are absolutely sure you can safely do so. This tour will provide you with the facts you need to make your decision.

In addition to taking a tour of the park, you'll also get to enjoy some wonderful views of the Simi Valley. The park is located near the Santa Susana Field Laboratory. It is an open space park with picnic areas and hiking trails. The park also has an indoor gymnasium and a child care center for up to 60 school age children. For a great time outdoors, consider a day trip to Sage Ranch Park in Chatsworth.

Mason Recreation Center

Visit the Mason Park Playgrounds and Splashpad for a unique family experience. These new additions to the community are the result of a First 5LA Tot Parks and Trails Initiative grant. The park includes different hiking trails, large boulders, caves, streams, and alcoves. The park also welcomes dogs. You can learn about the history of the area while you are on a tour.

The Mason Recreation Center is located within a beautiful 20-acre (81,000-square-foot) park overlooking the town of Simi. It features three baseball diamonds, outdoor basketball courts, and a children's playground. If you're looking for some exercise, you can visit the Mason Child Care Center, which can serve as a school for 60 school-age children. The center is also home to many local artists and community groups.
